Ever since he announced his desire to run for President of Haiti, Wyclef Jean has been getting static, and now it seems he isn’t qualified for the job.

According to E!, the Fugees rockstar did not make the list of legally approved candidates for the upcoming November 28th election.

A spokesperson from the election board told press, “He is not on the list as I speak.” But Wyclef says he’s definitely qualified.

Jean explained, “My lawyers have produced every piece of document that has been asked for. No one can say that there is any flaw.” (celebspin)
