Sienna in Twenty8Twelve

Last wednesday, Sienna wore this apple green Twenty8Twelve dress to the announcement
of the 2011 Nominees for the British Fashion Awards. As many of you know, I absolutely adore
Sienna's style, and I've found that she rarely makes style mistakes though sometimes she can
be more clever on taking style risks (she used to be brilliant at that!). I especially love it when
she wears something in a bright colour, such as this dress. It matches her lovely, vivacious
personality excellently. And don't you just love the back of it?!

Also, I'll use this as an opportunity to tell you that I will be deleting "Everything Sienna", and
post about Sienna here on Style Spot instead. It's just easier to have it all together in one
place.

Black To Green To Black

I loved how Mary-Kate Olsen and Kate Hudson were dressed at the Burberry Prorsum show yesterday.

Mary-Kate: dramatic in all black.
Kate: edgy in green sequins.
And the shoes! Just look at their incredible shoes.

And talking about amazing shoes: Burberry's thigh-high boots were insane. Ahhh, I want, I want so bad.

Going Green

I'm never the girl with the It bag, or the It shoe, but apparently I'm the girl with the It nail polish. Over the past couple days I've been borderline assaulted with amazed gasps accompanied by some version of the question, "Is that the Chanel polish?" This has happened countless times (two). Luckily, it is not the runway-famous Chanel polish, because that would mean I'd paid a ridiculous sum for green nail polish on eBay. It's sold out, see. This is the must-have in question:

An apparently good approximation, for those interested in such things: Ko's Liberty shade. The polish is too thick and is ultra matte (gross...I added a topcoat because I'm just not edgy enough), but hey, it'll get you pistachio green fingernails. Which is fashionable! Check me out:

You're welcome!

Olsen Haus Energy Heel

($198, Olsen Haus, Nimli.com)
I recently became aware of Olsen Haus' amazing line of vegan shoes. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE a steak fajita, but I can't argue with the fact that these are eco-, animal-, and earth-friendly AND so stylish that they're completely blowing my mind. Can you even deal with how hot the combo of fluorescent green and linen is? Appropriately, this open-toe, stiletto Mary Jane is called "Energy."

AND, you can get 20% off at Nimli.com with promo code SPRING09!

Appropriately, I could SO see Keri Hilson wearing these... AND she has a song called "Energy." I love a coincidence!

I Am Not a Trend Whore

Well, sometimes I am. But not today! Today, the Anya Hindmarch bags are on sale at Whole Foods. And today, I bought six reusable Baggu nylon grocery bags...

...three of which I can distribute to my boyfriend, and three of which I can carry around myself in their little pouches, should the urge to food-shop strike, as it so often does. You could even use them for clothes shopping, instead of accepting a big ol' shopping bag complete with tissue paper and whatnot. And now I feel good about my pro-environment decision. Also, the bags are way cute and come in lots of different colors! And you don't have to have the same trendy bag everyone else is carrying.

No, thank YOU, Baggu!

A Green Day

Sorry guys, it's been ages...again! (I wonder how many times I will say that:p) Today I had a new idea for things to post about. I love looking at pictures of celebrities and searching for inspirational outfits. As I was looking through my collection of photos, I thought that it might be fun to show some of them to you all, but with a little twist. So...the idea I got was to divide them into colour schemes, and show the beautiful, fun and inspiring outfits off!

I chose to start with the colour green, because it is one of my favourite colours, and I have so many pictures of gorgeous, lucious green dresses!!

Evangeline Lily looks incredible in this beautiful, bright shade of green. The perfect prom dress if you ask me!

Is there anyone who can honestly say that Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't look gorgeous in this dream of a dress?! This woman never gets it wrong, and when I say never, I mean never!

Okay, I admit that this dress is a little daring ;p But I do think that Penelope's sister, Monica Cruz, looks stunning in all of this floaty, green fabric.

Of course Sienna Miller is on the green dress list. This Grecian dress is something I would not hesitate to wear, and it is perfect for anyone who wants to feel like a Greek goddess.

How adorable is this dress on Naomi Watts?! My mouth fills with water when I look at it, and I am definitly putting this sweet silk dress on my wish list!

Oh la la! This bright and shiny dress is a dress for someone who wants to get noticed straight away. And I think Elizabeth Jagger sets a great example for us girls; wear whatever you feel like, grab the attention and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy ;)

A lucious green dress for the perfect diva! Marcia Cross carries it perfectly, and it goes so well with her red hair.

Eve wearing a beautiful piece in the olive shade. If you are more into earth colours, and not too fussed about bold and bright, this is a perfect choice!

I love this greeny turquoise colour, and the simplicity of this dress. Nicole Richie always, always gets her dresses right!

This sage dress is my absolute favourite! Ellen Pompeo glows in this floaty, dreamy piece, and the only thing left to say is that I am completely and utterly in love with it!

I would love to hear who your favourites are, and if you have a favourite colour which you would like me to feature, don't hesitate to let me know and I will see what I can do!! ;)
