How To Master: Layering

The cold weather is slowly creeping up on us, and many people aren't sure what to wear for the autumn/winter season. Some really hate these seasons because they have to dress up when it's cold, and they don't really know what to wear or how to look great and stay warm at the same time. In my case I simply love cold weather (cold, not freezing!), and dressing up for it. That is because I love love love to layer!

Many people tend to just wear hoodies with a t-shirt or a top underneath, and that tends to make them look a little bulky. Try layering with different pieces like a long tank top underneath a v-neck sweater. Team that with skinny jeans, ballet flats, colourful scarves and throw on a warm jacket. Well, that's one option out of many ways to layer!

Here are some of my autumn/winter-layering must-haves:

~ lots and lots of tank tops (they can be used with so much!)
~ fitted blazers (thicker material to keep warm)
~ leggings (great way to look great in the cold weather)
~ a few nice jackets
~ one amazing coat
~ big and beautiful scarves
~ hat to protect ears
~ gloves in black leather (I think they're called motorcycle gloves...?!)
~ v-necks & sweaters in all shapes and sizes
~ jeans and skirts to wear over leggings
~ baggy leather jacket

I've probably forgotten some things, so if there's anything you think should be on the list just write it down :-)

Dressing for autumn and winter is supposed to be fun and it is supposed to inspire you to experiment with great pieces. Even though it's a while until the winter comes (hopefully!!) it's all about picking up some great pieces and mix n' match!

The art of layering is a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll never ever forget it! ;)
